Rose Medicine p.2/2
I decided to become a steward of roses this year, to bring their medicine and their vibrational healing into our garden. This meant a lot of changes for my own self. Everything we do is connected and a representation of other layers of our life.
It is so much fun to have the energy this year to physically care for my garden. As my health improves, I am having this conversation with the land, interweaving the landscape design with the changes of my family and my personal journey.
Rose is a friend of a woman, she is deeply connected to our spirituality. I am so glad that finally, in my late 40s, I have the courage to see my own worth and beauty and have strong boundaries based on what I want and don't want. Ladies, it's ok to do what you really want, to only agree to energy exchanges that truly fuel you and not drain you. Bottom line from the rose for us: it is ok to say no, and stay firmly within it, even if everyone around you gets offended.
We are thought to care for everyone else, spouses, children, parents, family, friends. It gets so washed out as to who we are and what we want, it is hard to even know.
Here is the rose to remind you of your glory, of your beauty, of your gifts. Your energy is precious, your life deserves to be respected and what you want in life is absolutely sacred.
We are afraid that if we stop putting others ahead of our needs, we will be lonely, forgotten or even abused. The opposite is true, we actually become valued and cared for by those who really see us, who really value us, and they want to protect us and love us. They will respect us more, without trying to rip our blooms, they will take care of them, understanding and knowing that the rose is sacred.
