Seeking those 55+ to offer gentle safe trauma informed yoga customized to each individual's ability. We encourage them to come out and try our free program.

For the past decade, we have been aiming to create community where there otherwise would not be one. Our goal is to inspire positive results through gentle, safe, and trauma informed therapeutic yoga customized to each individual's ability. Currently we are seeking to find those 55+ who are isolated in the community. Our core missions are:
1. Creating community where there otherwise would not be community
2. Creating a safe accepting space for everyone
3. Helping get people out who are isolated

Some basic information about our program:

Located at Emmanuel United Church (22 Bridgeport West, Waterloo).

Classes are run at 10am on Wednesday. After class we host "social time" where participants can enjoy complimentary coffee, tea and treats.

This program is free and runs off of donations and volunteers.

We have props such as tennis balls, yoga blocks and walking poles for participants to use during class, but please bring your own if you have them.

Jayne Hembruff, the instructor of this program, is very welcoming and aims to offer yoga that is accessible to anyone of any ability.
