Roberta took home Speaker of the Evening, while Meghan rocked it as Quizmaster. The Quizmaster segment is always the most challenging… and the funniest part of the night. This one was “finger-licking smart”!😂

We also took time to celebrate our dear friend Shane, who has been such a valued and active member of our club. Shane, you’ve brought so much energy, support, and growth to our group — you will be truly missed! ❤️ You are a shining star 🌟!

The good news? Shane isn’t leaving Toastmasters — he’ll be continuing his journey with a club in London! We’re excited for your next chapter and can’t wait to hear about your adventures in your new city!

🍀 What a shamrockin’ St. Patrick’s Day we celebrated tonight at First Waterdown Toastmasters! Everyone showed up wearing green, we busted out a proper jig, and even had a cheeky leprechaun vibe in the room!

Big spotlight on our amazing members:
- Josh amused us with a convincing speech on why he as a leprechaun should keep his pot of gold — you had the whole room nodding along and ready to guard that gold ourselves!
- Meghan delivered her final speech and officially completed her chosen Pathway — huge congratulations on this incredible milestone!
- And Gary… you’re just an awesome person, always so helpful and supportive of the entire group. We couldn’t do it without you!

What a night at First Waterdown Toastmasters! Our Table Topics contest was on fire, thanks to these absolute “legends” making their debut: Megan, Dan, Daisy, Andy, and Angele! All first-timers, yet they delivered speeches that showcased the empowering skill of thinking and speaking with little preparation. Huge congrats to the top two advancing to the Area contest in February—can't wait to see you shine! Who's ready for more? 🎤🏆
