Dear families,

The news is forecasting heavy snowfall (15-30cm) of snow today (Wednesday afternoon) into Thursday.

It’s forecasted to start around 5pm today, so we strongly encourage parents to consider an early pick up tomorrow to avoid the same congestion and bad weather conditions from Friday January 31st which caused hours of delay for many of the families.

This is a reminder to look on the news early in the morning. If the Hamilton Wentworth District School Board and/or Hamilton Wentworth Catholic District School Board closes schools, we would be closed as well. They usually make their decision around 6:30am. We will send a text message and Lillio message just like last time.

If schools are open however, we ask that you give yourselves extra time to commute as regular pick up times are still required and late pick up fees cannot be waived due to weather.

Due to the possibility of bad weather, we will also be postponing the HEI-nniversary celebrations for later this month.

A special holiday event that’s full of excitement, community spirit, and ways to give back! Bring your little ones to meet the Waterdown Fire Station’s team and their fire truck, which will be stopping by from 1 pm to 3:30 pm - a perfect photo opportunity and a chance to support a wonderful cause!

🌟Raffles and Prizes: Donate a toy to receive a raffle ticket and the chance to win big, including one of two $1,000 gift certificates to  in Waterdown!

Where Do the Toys Go? 🧸👇🏼

Your generous donations will go to Operation Santa Claus, presented by Y108 & The Rotary Club of Hamilton, and to CHCH for distribution to local charities - spreading joy across the community.
