Young Cedars is run by Certified Trained Waldorf Teacher Monica Flamenco who has over 25 years experience working with Children and Families. Monica worked at The Vancouver Waldorf School in B.C. for 11 years. The carefully chosen Stories are nothing less than "Food for the Soul". The Puppet Shows are created with gentle imagery & hand made puppets to meet their tender Senses. The Artistic such as Water Color Painting, Drawing and Baking Bread offer more embodied experiences (including Wood working and Modelling with Bee's Wax). Summer Day Camp 2026 is off to a Great Start! We made Kites out of Unicorn 🦄 & Space 🚀 paper, Splashed 💦 in the crab pool, played in our muddy Sandbox, ate 🍉 & 🍒 & homemade Popsicles, played "Stone Soup" on a rainy Day & watched a Beautiful Puppet Show, "The Little Boy Knight" 👑👸🏼🐉⚔️ 🐴
