Aloha!
I dunno, maybe if we play lots of UKULELE... Spring will finally arrive!!
What's say we give it a try?! 🎶🌴

We need more 8 - 12 kids to join the class... AND, it just so happens... This is a great age range to start playing the uke!! 🎶😀 They just need to know a few basics and before you know it, they can play any song they've ever heard and loved and really begin to take it to the next level!

***Any 8 - 12 year olds out there in Wakefield/La Pêche Land who are interested but hesitant to join for any reason are WELCOME to come JOIN the FIRST CLASS, this coming Sunday April 22 from 11:15am - 12:15pm. Bring your ukulele or borrow a ukulele from me and see what it's all about, no strings attached (pun intended!). If you have fun and decide you'd like to learn some more, you can register for the classes.

This is just what I've been saying!!

Ukulele is a particularly great starting point for young musicians. It's accessible, engaging and EASY!!
But, this is not to say it is a simple instrument by any means. It's so versatile and can become quite complex that the potential to progress is limitless. It is an approachable gateway to the world of music, for any age. The best part is that players can sing along, which further stimulates the brain and the senses. The ukulele is instantly rewarding and the rewards never stop. It's just plain fun, with a wealth of benefits that will last a lifetime.

We had our last class for the Winter session and a lovely performance yesterday with the Wakefield Aloha Ukulele Club!
