September 30th is both National Day for Truth and Reconciliation as well as Orange Shirt Day.

Today we reflect and recognize the injustices faced by Indigenous Peoples in Canada and those impacted by the Residential School system. We hope everyone can use this day as an opportunity to acknowledge and understand the truth of Indigenous Peoples' history and resilience.

A way to do this is by tuning into the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation’s live broadcast ‘Remembering the Children’ which begins today at 12:00pm EDT.

For further information, the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation has more educational resources, and virtual events/programs on their website.
