Alberta Summer Games 2026

County Central High School has been approved for planning funds, to begin the value scoping process for a future modernization of CCHS. We are currently in the early pre-design stage of this work and have created a survey to help with planning:

This survey is intended to gather early feedback from Vulcan community members about potential opportunities, priorities, and partnerships that could be considered as the Division works to develop a strong Capital Plan submission to allow the Government to prioritize this project in the coming years.

In particular, we are interested in hearing ideas about how the modernized school could continue to serve students while also supporting broader community needs where possible.

For families with younger students, we encourage you to discuss what they might like to see at CCHS and incorporate their feedback if possible.

Your input will help inform future conversations between Palliser School Division, the Town and County of Vulcan, and project partners as the modernization process continues. There will also be future opportunities for students, families, staff, and community members to provide more specific feedback as the project develops. The survey will be open until July 24, 2026.
