The Vulcan Get-a-Way Youth Centre has an amazing opportunity for the youth of Vulcan! We are taking a FREE trip to the Lethbridge Corn Maze on October 23rd. Youth 10-18 years old are welcome to find forms at the Youth Centre or can find it on the Vulcanandregionfcss.com website under resources and then under forms and documents.

It has been a busy time here at CCHS.

On Friday September 25th our Friends of CCHS school council and some parent volunteers served up a pancake breakfast for our staff and students. Thank you!

We then held our Jr Monster Smash volleyball tournament on the 25th & 26th! Was a great turnout.

We had an assembly on the 29th and had our first recipients of the HAWK awards for the new school year. Way to go Nola, Jacob, Anders and Xander!

Our student council group spent the 28th and 29th selling water balloons to be used on our brave volunteers Mr Gill and Mr Demaere. After the Terry Fox run they bravely dealt with the balloon tossing from the students who purchased them!

Our Student Union group also did a bake sale and book drive last week and with the money collected they donated $100 to the Vulcan Municipal Library.

Thank you to our wonderful students for working hard to support organizations and to our staff for supporting them!

Jostens is coming to CCHS on Thursday September 24 at 11:00am. They will be holding a graduation display and will be accepting orders.

Hello Everyone!! I hope you set aside time in your busy calendars to come and watch some Junior High Volleyball!! This weekend we are hosting 20 teams to a competitive weekend of volleyball. No charge but you're always welcome to buy a burger at our concession!! First games are:

Jr. A Girls - Friday NOON - Premier game - CRC
Jr. B Boys - Friday 1pm - CRC
Jr. B Girls - Friday 2pm - VPE gym
