This week our younger division focused Noah and the great flood. Hashem wanted the world to be filled with mitzvot. He told Noah to build an Ark -Teivah to save him and his family from the flood.
Noah made the right choice and listened to Hashem's wise words.
Kids built their own Teivahs and through interactive activities learned how Noah and his family survived the flood. Their mission this week is to hang kindness messages around them and make the right choices.

Our older students are divided into a few groups, some covering the story of Egypt while the senior class did a hands on class class on blessing and customs for netilat yadayim - washing our hands when we wake up and before meals, and birkat hamazon, the blessing afterwards.

Chanukah Wonderland

This week CHS went on a field trip to Living Legacy's Chanukah Wonderland. Everyone was entertained by Rabbi Pinny as he interactively told the story of Chanukah and used an olive press to show us how oil was made, allowing the kids to help!
After his captivating storytelling, everyone went into the the dreidel house for some more fun. To end the session CHS kids created their own chanukah puzzle. Thank you to Rabbi Pinny and Rabbi Nachum of Living Legacy for this fantastic opportunity!
