Back in June, Dr. Cindy Holmes organized a wonderful beach picnic where we had the chance to celebrate her retirement together.

Congratulations, Cindy, on your retirement! Since joining the School of Social Work in 2017, your impactful scholarship and teaching — in areas such as 2SLGBTQ+ issues, critical mental health, anti-violence work, and decolonial and anti-racist practices — have left a lasting mark on students, colleagues, and the broader community. Wishing you a fulfilling and joyful next chapter!
