Hey there!
Youth for Change and Inclusion (YCI) is having their first meeting of the year tomorrow at lunch in room 108. YCI is a student-led group based around social change, responsible citizenship and leadership. They plan and host Pink Shirt Day, the Day of Silence, Multicultural Week, the ISP Holiday Dinner, and lots of other awesome events. YCI offers tons of opportunities for community work and is all together a really great club full of people who care for the world we live in. YCI Camp May 6th-9th 2015
Hi everyone! The Victoria Police Department is once again hosting the annual YCI Camp at Camp Pringle. Throughout this 4-day camp, we will be covering topics including leadership, team-building, diversity, social justice in a fun, interactive way. There is an 80$ fee attached which is only a portion of the total cost per student (thanks to the sponsors). You will leave the camp with a certificate and lots of tools under your belt.
A video of the 2012 YCI camp is attached for you to have a closer look at what makes YCI camp a valuable learning opportunity.

She is more than happy share with you her experience as a 2014 YCI camp participant and youth panelist. Spots are limited to 10 per school so be sure to her know early this week!
