News: UVic PSA has been ratified for the year 2021/22.

We welcome all the returning and new Pakistani students on the campus. We are looking to connect all the Pakistani students in UVic through our club. In this regard, a virtual meet and greet session on zoom is next on the schedule, stay tuned for updates.

We are going to revive the PSA for spring 2020 semester, as the UVSS Club ratification is at 3pm on January 13th in Cinecenta. You can come and support us!

Thank you to everyone who came to our event today! We had a great turnout and hope to see more of you next semester. We have been overwhelmed with the response, and are excited to work for and with you.

We were able to get some feedback and recommendations today, and will be releasing a survey soon, for all of you who weren’t able to make it today. We are also looking for people to fill some directorial positions, and welcome all of you who would like to get involved!

The food is ready! We’re really happy with the turnout and look forward to seeing more people come out today!

After a delayed start, the UVIC Pakistani Students’ Association is up and running for this year!

We are having an end of semester event for all of you to come and connect with fellow members of the Pakistani community at UVIC, learn about PSA’s upcoming activities next semester, and have some traditional Pakistani snacks! We encourage you all to get involved and promote a positive view of Pakistan at UVIC.

The UVic Pakistani Students’ Association fully endorses Engage UVIC for the UVSS election! We have a PSA student, Mahum Azeem, running for the position of a Director at Large with Engage UVic and we invite you to come support Engage along with us.

Engage is campaigning to increase affordability and better the mental health of students. We support Engage because they represent people from different backgrounds, and will fight to represent you on the board of the UVSS! They plan to fight for the adoption and creation of open source textbooks at UVic, implement the new Summer opt-in work U-Pass, and fight to put an end to the unfair tuition hikes on International Students.
