Let’s kick off this beautiful fall by building a routine of walking (or wheeling) to school!
We can:
● Show our kids we value being active
● Reduce potentially dangerous traffic congestion in front of the school
● Make friends and build community!
Walking buses will be a theme this fall W&W week. The goal is to set up 3-4 meeting
locations where parent leaders will then accompany kids to school.
If you walk to school, live near a convenient meet up location and walking route,
and would like to volunteer as a parent leader: email Stacey
[email protected]
The rest of W&W Week will be the same: morning celebrations and School Street
Party on Friday.

🍽️ Torquay Fun Lunch is coming soon!
We’re excited to get another year of Fun Lunches underway and are especially happy to welcome a new local vendor — a Torquay family-owned Persian Grill House!

They’ll be offering delicious rice bowls with kebobs, with both meat and veggie options available. All options will be halal.

📅 First Fun Lunch: September 23
🗓️ Order deadline: September 16

🚨 PLEASE WAIT TO CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT
One very important request as we get everything organized:
Please do NOT create your Fun Lunch account until September 14.

We need a little time to organize the classes before registration opens. We know this makes for a short ordering window, and we really appreciate everyone’s patience as we get things set up for the year.

All families — both new and returning — will need to create a NEW account this year. Your account from last year will not carry over, so please wait until September 14 to set up your new account.

🔗 The Fun Lunch link will be shared next week and will also be included in one of the documents your child will bring home in the coming days.

Thank you for your patience while we get everything organized. We’re excited to bring Fun Lunch back to Torquay and to welcome our new Persian Grill House vendor to our school community. We hope you’ll join us for some delicious lunches throughout the year! ❤️

September 14 — create your account
September 16 — orders close for first Fun Lunch
September 23 — first Fun Lunch!
