Our annual Walk and Wheel Week is next week - April 20 - 24! We encourage active travel by asking students to walk or wheel to school all week and will end with a street party on Friday, April 24th. The street in front of our school will be closed to traffic from 8:15 - 9:00am. Please see the attached for more details

Wow Torquay - our first newsletter after Spring Break was packed with some great events and things happening around our school and community!
In case you missed it:
1. April&May cross country starts up next week on Tuesday with practices at lunch recess. Please refer to the highlight and your newsletter for the specifics on days and times for practices and meets!
2. Don’t forget about reading Bingo! Reading can be creative and fun - chose one of the many option on our Reading bingo and see if you can get a line! Once you do, make sure to bring it into your teacher to submit your name for a chance to win a pizza lunch for your classroom!
3. There is a bake sale coming up on April 15th! What kind of delicious treat will you get?!
4. Class photos are happening April 16th

Join us for a FREE Parent Education Evening Workshop open to all families at Torquay School!
This engaging session will introduce practical learning strategies drawn from Emotion Focused Family Therapy, and provide insight into this supportive, evidence-based approach. Families will also be provided the space and opportunity to practise new skills in a welcoming, interactive environment.
