Lena is heading to UVic in September, where she will be part of the Humanities Scholars program.

“At PSII, I learned to manage my time in ways that were meaningful to me. I learned to ask better questions and go deeper into topics I am interested in. Being at PSII, helped me experience a different approach to learning that works for me. I found ways to explore topics, ask questions and learn hands-on. I acquired skills that will be useful to me as I start my university career.”

PSII is looking for an Education Assistant and Activities Coordinator to support learners to engage fully with their learning plans and to facilitate activities that support physical health and well-being☀️

Our learners visited the BC School for the Deaf this week. They got to play games with some of their ASL classes and visited their archives. They had a great time learning and communicating with other learners.

Join us for a special community celebration as learners from the Pacific School of Innovation and Inquiry (PSII) launch their newly published poetry anthology, Departure.

For many of these young writers, this will be their first time sharing their work publicly and celebrating a book of their own. Students will read selected poems from the anthology and engage in a short Q&A period with the audience hosted by Dave Morris.

Over 40 of our learners had the opportunity to experience Japan this spring 🌸 The joy and growth our learners experienced was truly incredible. They got to try new and exciting dishes, there were lots and lots of convenience store runs, navigated the complex subway system and most importantly got to explore a new culture alongside their friends. Here are some of the many highlights of our learners trips. 🇯🇵
