The children and I will be learning all about the amazing story of Terry Fox this coning week, and we will going for our annual Terry Fox run on Thursday, September 24. Everyone is welcome! ❤️

Adventure Island Childcare has full time and part time spaces available starting this September 2026! Hours can be either 8-430 or 9ish-2ish for a discounted rate. Currently accepting registrations for children born in 2022, 2023, and potentially 2024 (must be at least 2 years old and okay with a shorter nap window due to after school care pick up time)
I am located in Gordon head, servicing Torquay elementary. We are a small group, lots of field trips, we have chickens and a wonderful curriculum - specializing in preparing children for Kindergarten. I also work with the affordable child care benefit! July 3, 2012 (12 years ago!!!) I opened the doors to Adventure Island Childcare! What an incredible time it has been, watching all these beautiful children grow up before my eyes, and all the amazing friendships I’ve made along the way. It’s been a true honour and privilege to serve the families of our community providing quality child care, and I hope for many more years to come! A huge thank you to all the past and present families for entrusting me with caring for your babies. I feel truly grateful. Happy 12 year anniversary AIC!!! ❤️🥳
