Meet Ryker! ⚽️❤️

One of our amazing DriveWise BC instructors, Ken, is Ryker’s very proud grandpa — and we just had to share his story.

Ryker is only 7 years old and has been selected for an incredible opportunity: a one-week soccer training camp in Spain because of his amazing soccer skills! ⚽️

In this picture, Ryker is doing his part to make that dream happen, selling dog treats and other delicious goodies to help raise money for his trip. You’ll also see his Grandma, Ingeborg, right there supporting him!

I personally LOVE stories like this. I love seeing kids with big dreams, and I especially love seeing grandparents right there beside their grandkids, encouraging them, supporting them and helping them believe those dreams are possible. ❤️

Nothing is cheap these days, especially for young families, and an opportunity like this comes with a pretty big price tag. But every little bit helps.

So DriveWise BC is going to help this little guy stay focused on his goal… his SOCCER goal! ⚽️

And we thought maybe some of our DriveWise family and friends might like to help too.

Some stories remind us that perseverance really does pay off.

Congratulations to our student, Jason, who today earned his N licence! 🎉

When Jason first came to DriveWise BC, he was living on a fixed income while on disability. Despite the challenges he faced, he was determined to achieve something many of us take for granted—earning his driver’s licence.

Our owner, Kate Harris, was equally determined to help Jason achieve that goal and proudly sponsored him throughout his entire Learn to Drive journey. Working alongside his instructor, Alex, Jason put in the time, effort and practice needed to become a safe and confident driver.

Through every lesson, Jason showed up with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a determination that never wavered. He has truly been a pleasure to teach.

Today, all of that hard work paid off as Jason passed his road test and earned his N licence. We couldn’t be prouder!

Jason, your licence represents so much more than the ability to drive—it represents independence, confidence and new opportunities.

Congratulations! We wish you nothing but safe travels ahead. And please don’t be a stranger—stop by and say hello once in a while. We’ll all be cheering you on every kilometre of the way! 🚗👏
