First official day of is in the bag! What a first day! All day meetings followed by the opening ceremonies on the diamond of the Washington Nationals and then a lovely reception put on by the UK universities. Can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow!

I couldn’t have ended my trip to the UK any better than my visit at the University of Birmingham. Huge thanks to Claire and Rebecca for their kindness and hospitality. It was fantastic to see so many enthusiastic students show up to learn about the summer business programs. I can’t wait to welcome students from various faculties across the university. Summer 2023 is looking like it’s going to be a blast!!

Today I had the pleasure of doing an information session at the University of Glasgow to introduce the summer business programs at the University of Victoria. It was lovely meeting the team as well as reconnecting with the ISIBM students from last summer. They spoke about their experiences at UVic and in Victoria as being some of the best of their lives. I had tears in my eyes listening to them about how their study abroad experience changed their lives. I am so lucky to be able to meet amazing students like these! 🥰
