GNS is an independent JK-12 International Baccalaureate boarding and day school in Victoria, BC.
Glenlyon Norfolk School is an inclusive, family-driven community whose members care about each
other and the world around them, where dedicated teachers and staff deliver the full International
Baccalaureate Program in a co-educational environment from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12. GNS offers boarding options for students who are not residents of Victoria and provides an extensive co-curricular program.
In the spring term, our Grade 7s brought their entrepreneurial skills to life during the inaugural Mini Food Truck Festival! As part of IB Design course the students built their designs from the ground-up, creating fully motorized, 3D-printed and laser-cut models. We can’t wait to see what they design next!

Our first Outdoor Education Academy was an incredible success this summer—we are so proud of all that these students have accomplished! Following preparation work here in Victoria, they spent five days in the mountains, challenging themselves and improving their mountaineering skills.
GNS Director of Outdoor Education Mr. Clay Webb shared that he is incredibly impressed with everyone’s ability to pick up new skills, “but most importantly their ability to look out for one another and work as a community to ensure a safe and successful expedition.” Well done Gryphons!
