We are excited to welcome our returning students and families back to Discovery School and to extend a very warm welcome to all of the new families joining our school community this year!

A reminder that school begins this Tuesday.

⏰ Tuesday Schedule:
All students, including high school students, will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will be dismissed at 12:00 noon.

☕ Parent Coffee Morning:
Parents and guardians are invited to join us in the gym after morning drop-off for coffee, tea, and a chance to connect with other Discovery families and board members of our school community. Feel free to stay for a visit or simply grab a cup to go.

We know the first day brings a mix of excitement, anticipation, and perhaps a few butterflies. Our staff are looking forward to welcoming everyone and helping students settle into their classrooms and routines.

Today, Discovery School is preparing to recognize World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development.

At Discovery, we are grateful for the many cultures, backgrounds, languages, traditions, and lived experiences that make our school community stronger. Diversity helps us learn from one another, build understanding, and create a more welcoming and inclusive place for all students and families.

Today is a reminder to celebrate what makes each of us unique, while also recognizing the shared Discovery RISE values that bring us together: Respect, Integrity, Safety, and Encouragement.

Together, we continue to learn, grow, and thrive as a caring and diverse school community.
