We are getting excited to start the annual Discovery School Fun Day this afternoon!!🍉🦄💦☀️🏐

Today, Discovery School is preparing to recognize World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development.

At Discovery, we are grateful for the many cultures, backgrounds, languages, traditions, and lived experiences that make our school community stronger. Diversity helps us learn from one another, build understanding, and create a more welcoming and inclusive place for all students and families.

Today is a reminder to celebrate what makes each of us unique, while also recognizing the shared Discovery RISE values that bring us together: Respect, Integrity, Safety, and Encouragement.

Together, we continue to learn, grow, and thrive as a caring and diverse school community.

Happy Mother’s Day to the wonderful mothers, grandmothers, caregivers, and mother figures in our school community.

Today, we recognize the care, strength, patience, and love you bring to the lives of children and families each day. So much of what you do happens quietly and without recognition, yet it shapes confidence, character, kindness, and belonging in lasting ways.

As a school, we are grateful for the partnership, encouragement, and support you provide. Your presence in your children’s lives, and in our broader community, makes a meaningful difference.

In honor of the "Dragon" theme at this year's book fair, a few exciting features are planned for tonight, including a dragon photo booth!
