Join Ted van Hemert, R.Ac. at Pacific Rim College for Acupuncture in Mental Health & Addiction, a two day workshop exploring practical approaches to supporting recovery and emotional wellbeing.

Designed for acupuncture students and practitioners, this workshop brings together neuroscience, trauma informed care, and classical Chinese philosophy to provide a comprehensive framework for understanding addiction and mental health in clinical practice.

Join Juliette Carr for The Art and Science of Formulating with Synergists, a live online workshop exploring how herbal synergists can be used to create more effective, intentional formulations.

Throughout this two day workshop, participants will explore:

🌿 The physiology behind herbal synergy
🌿 Commonly used synergistic herbs and their actions
🌿 How to choose the right synergist for a formulation
🌿 An organized framework for building effective formulas
🌿 How to apply these principles across different herbs, healing traditions, specialties, and bioregions

Join Kim Juneja, DTCM at Pacific Rim College for Affirming the Whole Person: A TCM Approach to Gender Diverse Care, a two day workshop for TCM practitioners, acupuncturists, DTCMs, and students.

Through a practical, trauma informed approach, participants will explore how TCM can support transgender, nonbinary, and gender diverse patients throughout different stages of their healthcare journey.

Day one will bring you into the classroom to explore:

What’s the difference between learning about holistic health and actually learning how to practise it? 🌿

At Pacific Rim College, we believe clinical training shouldn’t be something students wait years to experience. Students in our Holistic Nutrition and Phytotherapy diploma programs begin direct clinical training from their very first week of studies, building practical skills alongside their academic education.
