Last Thursday was a bittersweet day as we gathered to celebrate someone who has been more than just a coworker — Deb has been an important part of our team and a bright light to many children over the years who walked through our doors.

After 18 incredible years, Deb is retiring — and while we’re thrilled for her next chapter, we will miss her.

From the very beginning, Deb brought creativity and dedication to her role. As the manager of our Western 1 Site and of our Brown Bag Lunch program she didn’t just do her job — she made a difference.

She fed hungry kids, yes, but she also nourished young minds and spirits. Every lunch she prepared, every routine she created, every craft she guided — it was all done with care.

If you ever stepped into her site, you know exactly what I mean. It was always warm, inviting, and beautiful. Her passion for decorating made the space come alive with every season and every celebration. She took us under the sea, to the circus and to the islands of Survivor.

And let’s not forget the crafts. Deb could turn paper, glitter, and glue into something magical — and in the process, she taught children the joy of creating, the pride of finishing a project, and the importance of expressing themselves.

Deb your legacy at Kids Klub is one of service, creativity, and care. The lives you’ve touched — both big and small — are forever better because of you.
