Do you ever feel guilty for wanting more when you know you have so much to be grateful for?

Wanting more doesn’t mean something is wrong.

Your life doesn’t have to be falling apart for you to want something different.

Your desire for more can be a sign that you’re ready to evolve.
It may be that quiet inner knowing that there’s more you want to experience, receive & create.

Gratitude & desire aren’t mutually exclusive.
You can honour what you have without feeling guilty for wanting something new.

More joy.
More peace.
More freedom.
More fulfillment.
More expansion.
More abundance.
More meaningful connection.
More of what makes you feel alive.

A gentle reminder that we don’t need anyone else’s permission or approval to desire more,
we are allowed to change & grow,
we’re meant to expand, receive & experience abundance.

You can appreciate everything you have today & still be excited about what comes next.

You can be spiritual, embrace acceptance & still honour your desire for growth, change & abundance.

Both can be true.
We can hold space for all of it.

What’s one possibility you’d love to explore if you gave yourself permission?

🔁 If this resonated, save, repost or share to remind others others to give themselves permission to desire more from life.

How much of what we desire are we putting off until “someday”?

I’m on vacation at the moment & it’s made me reflect on how easily we put the things we want off until “someday.”

When life is less busy.
When there’s more time.
When the timing is better.
When the kids are older.
When we feel better.
When we retire.

I hadn’t been on a major trip in two years. Life was busy, & something I genuinely love, & that always inspires & rejuvenates me, kept getting pushed aside.

Being here has left me feeling incredibly grateful, & reminded me how easily we can lose sight of the things we value.

This really isn’t about travel.

It’s about making room for, & prioritizing, the things that bring us joy, inspire us, light us up & make us feel most alive.
The things we value.
The goals we want to pursue.
The people we want to spend time with.
The experiences that challenge us, energize us, or pull us so completely into the moment that we lose track of time.

Maybe it’s also about noticing where we may be holding back.
Perhaps staying in something we know isn’t aligned with what we desire.
Where we’re staying safe within our comfort zone,
Where we are waiting until we feel ready,
Waiting until the time is right.

It’s easy to create stories that hold us back, but if we reflect, how often are those stories coming from a place of limitation, lack or doubt rather than self-trust and faith?

There may never be a perfect time, and perhaps that’s the reminder I’m taking from this, to make more time for what I enjoy, and to take the time to reflect on how I can step into greater alignment with what I desire vs. waiting.

So maybe the question isn’t only, what am I putting off until “someday,” but does the way I’m living reflect what I truly value and what I want in my life?

What brings you joy that you’d like to make more room for?

🔁 If this is the reminder you needed today, repost or share it with someone who might need it too. 🤍

Have you been so busy pushing through that you’ve stopped hearing what your body is whispering to you?

When life is busy & we are under constant pressure, it’s easy to disconnect from what our body is telling us.

We often push past the fatigue,
dismiss the tension,
numb the discomfort,
ignore the cues our body is giving us, or are frustrated by the chronic symptoms.

We often see these signs as problems to be solved rather than cues that our body is communicating with us & needs support.

Although poor sleep, digestive issues,
low energy, irritability, tension,
chronic pain, or a mind that won’t switch off may seem unrelated,

they may all reflect nervous system impacts of chronic stress, prolonged overload, years of pushing through or unresolved trauma.

Our bodies are shaped by what we experience and what we carry over time.
The pressure that we’ve been navigating can show up in our body & in how we feel, function & respond.

Symptoms are an invitation to slow down, listen with more curiosity & to reconnect with what our body needs.

When we understand the root cause & what’s beneath the symptoms,
we can learn how to support ourselves in ways that ease the load,
reduce pressure, & create more space to rest, regulate & recover.

Investing in consistent sleep, nourishing food, regular movement, intentional breath and meaningful connection can support the nervous system, alongside reducing the stress & demands contributing to overload.

A gentle reminder, your body isn’t failing you. It’s communicating with you & asking for care.

If you get quiet & listen, what has your body been telling you that it needs?

🔁 If this gave you a different way to think about what your body has been telling you, repost or share with someone who may be missing the cues.

Looking to feel less stressed, more focused or to shift your energy?

Start with the way you breathe.

Your breath is one of the quickest ways to shift your state, whether you’re looking to ease overwhelm, settle anxiety, enhance focus, create more energy or wind down for sleep.

The key is knowing which technique to use for the shift you want to create.

* When you’re feeling anxious or overwhelmed, relaxing breathwork techniques can help settle your system.

* When you need an energy boost, more activating techniques can help increase alertness.

* If you’re struggling to sleep, slow, equal breathing at around 5–6 breaths per minute can help the body ease into rest.

As our breath is so powerful for shifting our state, learning how to use your breath intentionally & to regulate your nervous system is one of the many aspects we explore in the 12-week From Surviving to Thriving program.

Whatever the moment is asking of you, remember that your breath is always there to come back to.

I’d love to know if you have a favourite breathwork technique?

I love Nadi Shodhana, or the deeply relaxing state of a Conscious Connected breathwork ceremony. ✨

📌 Save this to come back to you need a little extra support.

🔁 Repost or share to support others to tap into the power of their breath.

When we desire change for ourselves, it can be easy to overlook the progress we are making.

Growth can show up in subtle changes,

The things you’re no longer willing to settle for.

Asking for support instead of carrying everything on your own.

Honouring your voice or holding a boundary, even when it’s hard.

Choosing something different when staying with what’s familiar or playing it safe would feel easier.

Pausing to connect with your body, make space for what you’re feeling & to create a felt sense of safety within.

Giving yourself permission to want more.

Standing in your worth.

Healing is deeply personal, is not linear & may not look like what we think it does.

Sometimes it unfolds so quietly that we may not recognize the small changes in ourselves, our thoughts, our choices & how we show up.

So an invitation to pause sweet friend, to be gentle with yourself,

and to acknowledge yourself for every small step forward that you have made.
You may doing better than you realize. 💛

What’s something you’re doing differently today that an earlier version of you might have found difficult?

📌 Save this as a reminder of the progress that you are making.

🔁 Repost & share with someone to acknowledge how they’re showing up for themselves.

If this resonated with you, you are in the right place, follow Erin Corry, MSc., Coach & Breathwork Specialist for more.
