Hey everyone, I'm excited to be on faculty again for this year's Cabaret Summer Intensive, our 6th year! Once again, the public is welcome to audit our workshop sessions in Wood Hall for $30/session or $100 for all 5, starting this Monday! Here's a rundown of each day's topic (mine's on Tuesday 😉):

Vocal Technique: The contemporary commercial vocalist and the classical/crossover singer (Kim Greenwood)

#3 Wednesday, July 22 - 1:15PM - 3:15PM:

Sound Reinforcement and Microphone Technique with Special Guest Clive Alcock (Brenda Morie) Clive's career has taken him from university audio recording to mixing shows for Diana Krall, Loreena McKennit, Jann Arden, and many other great performers. He's now based in Victoria and focused on consulting on the design and installation of institutional sound systems, such as Rogers Place and MacEwan University.

Interpretation: Making vocal choices for dramatic reasons (Noreen Smith)

#5 Friday, July 24 - 1:15PM - 3:15PM:
Putting It All Together: Preparing to Perform (Brandi Varnell Duy)
