Tate is so very thankful to Carolyn Brooke of Calgary for her Canadian Tire box o' bags! And he feels incredibly grateful to Jim Anderson, owner of Canadian Tire in Surrey (102nd) for donating six bags! And just this morning, Tate was shocked and felt unbelievably blessed to receive *60 bags* from store owner Jim Smethurst of SW Marine (Ontario St) Canadian Tire. These bags will bring smiles to the folks they touch this Christmas Eve. Thank you Canadian Tire for your support over the past six years.

More people lack homes in Vancouver than any time since... it’s hard to say exactly. And of the 614 people who are *unsheltered* and living on the streets this holiday season, Tate is trying to bring some warmth with sleeping bags. Thanks to a generous donation by FGL Sports, he is taking a different approach: stuffing our VW Atlas with bags and handing them to unsheltered homeless folks around the Lower Mainland. This will be Tate’s fifth year distributing sleeping bags, with more than 500 to date.
