🌟 FUTURE OLYMPIAN FRIDAY 🌟

Alex “The Hurricane” Hutton is back on the bike and putting in the work! 🚴‍♂️💨

After dealing with an injury, Alex is working hard to get race-ready ahead of the Canadian Grand Nationals next weekend — and last night’s practice was all about rebuilding, pushing forward, and getting those laps in. 💪

Alex is currently ranked 5th in all of Canada for 12-year-old boys 🇨🇦🔥 and we couldn’t be prouder of the determination he continues to show both on and off the track.

Last week, we were so grateful to welcome students from Belmont Secondary School to Cherish for a special afternoon of technology training with our residents. 💻📱💙

From phones and tablets to apps, settings and everyday tech questions, there was plenty of learning, laughter and great conversation along the way.

What made the visit even more special was the connection between generations. Our residents enjoyed the patience, knowledge and enthusiasm the students brought, and the feedback from everyone involved was incredibly positive.

A huge thank you to the students and staff from Belmont Secondary School for spending time with us and sharing your skills. We loved having you at Cherish and hope to welcome you back again soon! 💕

Words cannot express how proud we are of our incredible residents and our Residents Advisory Council for choosing to step up and help those who have been affected by the devastating wildfires in the Interior of BC this year.

Their compassion and generosity are a beautiful reminder that community extends far beyond the walls of Cherish.

We are so proud of the people who call Cherish home and the kindness they continue to show to others. ❤️

What a weekend for Alex “The Hurricane” Hutton ! 🚲💨

Alex raced hard at the Provincial Championships in Squamish this past weekend — taking the WIN on Sunday and finishing the 2026 Provincial Series ranked 6th in ALL of BC for 12-year-old boys! 🏆

The last tomatoes have been picked, the plants are coming out, and what a summer they gave us!

From the resident's garden, to our kitchen, to bowls of homemade tomato soup shared around the table — this little garden gave us some pretty wonderful Cherished Moments.
