Interested in learning more about serving as a school trustee?
With the upcoming local election, we invite anyone interested in learning more about the role of a school trustee to attend an information session on Monday, August 31 at the Board Office (3143 Jacklin Road).
The session will provide an overview of the role, responsibilities and expectations of trustees and offer an opportunity to learn more about what serving as a school trustee involves.

The StrongerBC future skills grant can help you build skills for good jobs in growing industries. It supports B.C.’s Look West Strategy by making short-term training more accessible for people across the province.
If you live in B.C. and are 19 or older, you may be able to get up to $3,500 for eligible short-term training. This funding can make it easier to take the next step toward work, career growth or a new opportunity.
Applications are open for the 2026/27 StrongerBC future skills grant. 24 public post-secondary schools across B.C. will offer over 250 grant-eligible programs in 2026/27.
