Abstract - line design and painting!

Finally, she completed her painting of a vase with colorful flowers. In this art class, she learned how to draw roses, tulips, chrysanthemums, and so on while she practiced mixing various colors of the flowers with primary colors.

In addition, she learned how to manage her extra time after her work, starting and finishing decorating a birdhouse in time. It was a very busy time for her but she persevered well!

She(grade2) finally completed her piece! When she started to draw, she said “I don’t know what and how to start.” However, her journey expressing her idea was great by following the teacher’s instructions and adding her imagination as well as learning the theory of the basic color schemes and decalcomania.

As a teacher, I am very proud of you!

Learning from the greatest artist - Monet’s water lilies garden!

The kindergarteners learned to draw and paint in the style of Monet’s garden by following the teacher’s step by step instruction.

They expressed a bridge using a few lines as well as water lilies and leaves using basic shapes. When they colored the water in the background with watercolors, they showed the darkness and brightness of water by controlling the amount of water.

They did an excellent job!

Students' Choice!

Students chose what they wanted to draw - Mermicorn and Unikitty!
When the teacher asked what they would like to draw, some shouted 'Mermicon' and some shouted 'Unikitty'. The teacher prepared both Mermicorn and Unikitty samples and the kindergarteners diligently followed the teacher's step-by-step instructions to complete both of their drawings on time.

Great job!

Craft Time - Dinosaur Puppets!

The students made dinosaur puppets by following the teacher’s step-by-step instructions. They devoted themselves to making dinosaur puppets by drawing, painting, cutting, and attaching to clothespins, which was a relatively long process for kindergarteners.

After completion, they played with their puppets by controlling opening and closing of the clothespins to make it look like their dinosaurs were talking to each other. Be proud of yourselves!

The kindergarten students learned how to express their swimming postures following the teacher’s step-by-step instructions. They also practiced handling art materials such as pencils, erasers, and brushes, as well as recognizing and naming more colors and basic shapes.

After completing their artwork, the students had a fun time playing with magic sand.

It was very exciting to see the students express love and gratitude towards their fathers by drawing and coloring lots of hearts! They learned about the different characteristics between oil-based and water-based art materials. These two types of materials automatically separate when used together.

Students chose what they wanted to draw and paint - King Triton!

When the teacher asked the students what they wanted to draw for student selection in the next class, they shouted out “Triton! Triton! Triton!” Even though the subject was a little bit difficult for kindergarteners because drawing Triton requires using lots of free lines, they did surprisingly well by following the teacher’s step-by-step instructions. In addition to the basic picture, they also added something unique which could only come from a child's mind.

This resulted in many wonderful, unexpected features!
