On Friday we bid farewell to our spring group from Thailand, who had joined us for five weeks at Edward Milne Community School and Journey Middle School. Along the way they discovered Tim Horton’s, they zipped through forests at Wildplay, rode the slide at Malahat Skywalk, smelled the tulips at Butchart Gardens, saw what felt like all of the whales in the Salish Sea, and then wowed us with their celebration of Thai culture on their final day in Canada. Thank you all for having chosen us as your destination for this memorable experience!

A bus full of our Sooke Schools international students made their way to Vancouver on Friday, and took advantage of the sunny skies and springtime temperatures to enjoy all that the big city had to offer. Congrats to Simon, Helli, and Marie — the winners selected by our judge in the photo contest!
