Is there anything as fun as taking a project from design all the way to production? Some of us only design and some of us only make, but there’s something rewarding about finishing up one of your own creations. This is a workstation/locker I am putting together for my grandfather.

Candy Corn glass pendant I made for someone. This was a fun course and it was interesting to see the glass being shaped under all that heat! Who’d want to see more glass blowing courses on Bibli?

All the metalworkers out there might know about this, but even mild steel can crack when its supposed to bend. This happened because the wrong die size was used on the brake press. The die was too small and you can see “stretch marks” forming and see where it finally cracked.

Roy Underhill and The Woodwright’s School fill up classes so fast for a reason: they’ve got an entertaining, extremely educational style of teaching. You might recognize Roy from “The Woodwright’s Shop”. He has hosted this woodworking tv show since 1979, and has over 30 years of teaching experience.
