📢 BIG ICBC UPDATE FOR B.C. DRIVERS! 🚗💨

Is the ICBC Class 5 road test being removed in B.C.? YES! Starting October 19, 2026, ICBC is officially ending the second (exit) road test under the updated Graduated Licensing Program (GLP).

Here is a quick breakdown of what’s changing for Class 7 "N" drivers:

❌ No More 2nd Road Test: Eligible Novice drivers will no longer take a practical road test to get a full Class 5 driver's licence.
☁️ Driving Record Assessment: Upgrades will be evaluated automatically based on a clean driving record (zero mobile device violations, excessive speeding, or prohibitions).
⏱️ Restricted Class 5 Stage: New Class 5 drivers will enter a 12-month zero-alcohol and drug restriction period.
🚀 Faster Timelines for Drivers 25+: Learner and Novice waiting periods are shortened for drivers aged 25 and older!
