Hey sis,
There was a season where I felt a lot like Martha â careful, overwhelmed, and troubled about many, many, things.
And for me, it showed up asâŠ
âą Overâfunctioning
âą Performing instead of resting
âą Misaligned priorities
âą Blurred focus
In other words⊠burnout.
Luke 10:41 (KJV)
" And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things.
I used to be her.
And if youâre a highâachieving woman, a mother, a caregiver, or a Christian woman carrying the weight of expectations⊠You might know exactly what that feels like.
Raise your hand, if you can relate. đđŸââïž
But after spending time sitting at the feet of Jesus, because, I had the time, something shifted. I started to recognize the patterns, and, I chose the one needful thing.
I chose myself. đ„č
I stepped back from what I could control and learned how to find balance again, setting healthy boundaries.
And I made space â real space â for rest, selfâcare, and alignment.
Joel 2:25 (KJV)
"And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten..."
Sis, sometimes the holiest thing you can do⊠is choose You.
Not in selfishness. But in stewardship.
Because when youâre restored, rested, and aligned â everything in your life begins to breathe again. đ
