Are you in the Greater Toronto Area and interested in learning guitar? Whether you are striving to play guitar on the big stage or just around the campfire, I will make sure you reach your goals in a timely manner. I offer individual and group guitar lessons in-person in Toronto, as well as online. Although I primarily teach classical guitar repertoire, I can teach a variety of styles, and offer specialized courses in beginner guitar, guitar technique, sight-reading, and fretboard harmony. I have successfully prepared my students for university auditions, RCM exams, and competitions, and offer a highly goal-oriented approach to teaching. All ages and ability levels are welcome!
"My daughter has been under the teaching of Simon for a few months now. Simon is always punctual, professional and makes learning fun. He has talent in not only playing music, but teaching it. She is playing songs only after a few month under his wing, I look forward to seeing how her musical talent will develop over time." - Geeta, parent of student
"Simon is a fantastic teacher! In a short period of time, he is able to establish a strong rapport with my son. My son's favourite time now is Simon's lessons. Simon can also tailor the training to meet the students' needs and styles. I highly recommend Simon." - Sameh, parent of student
"Simon is an excellent teacher. I started my guitar lessons with him when I was 8 years old and he was the one who introduced me to the world of classical guitar. His lessons were fun, enjoyable, and fulfilling. When teaching, Simon found pieces that I liked and suited my level. He always encouraged me to perform at my best. I made amazing progress during my time studying with Simon." - Adrian, guitar student
