Did you know VISII has an outdoor education program? Every second week we take the learners out onto the land to connect with the natural world and learn about everything from bushcraft to local ecology!

Our learners organized a Halloween potluck all on their own! How cute are these cookies made by one of our lovely grade 6s? 🎃🍬

Today the learners went on a field trip to Rocky Point Bird Observatory 's banding station at Pedder Bay! We learned so much about the fantastic avian life in the area and why banding projects like this are important for research and conservation. The learners even got to release a few banded birds!

Good morning VISII Families!

As there is quite a bit of snow and roads are in poor shape, VISII has declared it an official SNOW day.

Today, JAN 6, VISII is CLOSED.

As there have not been any students in attendance this week I am not expecting this change to be an additional inconvenience and hopefully your child will be able to enjoy the snow.
