🎉 Congratulations to Focal, founded by Lachlan Shum, BCom ’18, and Jason Mah Ming, for being named one of UVic’s Co-op Employers of the Year!

Focal develops website and booking platform software that provides professional photographers around the world with an online marketplace. Since 2020, Focal has welcomed 12 commerce, writing and visual arts students, providing them with invaluable learning opportunities through 14 co-op work terms.

Are you looking to bridge the gap between research and real-world impact? The Coast Capital is now accepting RSVP's for the Summer 2024 Research to Real World Application program. A FREE, hands on program designed just for you!

In this program, you will gain valuable insights into entrepreneurship through highly interactive sessions facilitated by K. Krasnow Waterman, an expert with broad expertise and global experience from her years working with the MIT community. Each session will focus on fundamental entrepreneurship skills and their application to your research.
