Elements Early Learning Centre

Elements Early Learning Centre An Indoor/outdoor, nature Inspired preschool. We are an in-home Early Childhood Centre that offers a holistic approach to childcare with an outdoor emphasis.

Our program emphasizes an Emergent Curriculum approach to support interactive hands-on learning. With the focus on the child we combine child-initiated play with teacher-directed knowledge and guidance to encourage and expand learning as it occurs naturally. In a child friendly setting with certified Early Childhood Educators, we plan and work together as a group to set up the indoor and outdoor classroom, plant and tend a garden, explore and engage in community interests and projects, with the intention of building a home away from home.

Opening in September 2018, Elements After School program in the East Hill area. After-school pick-up will be at Beairsto Elementary – please check with the school district to see if a bus service is running from your child’s school to Beairsto. The program will operate out of our existing early childhood setting, Elements Early Learning Centre, and will follow the same philosophy that embraces outdoors and nature activities for the well-being of growing children. If your child is between Kindergarten and Gr. 5 and you are looking for this type of program, please contact us at [email protected] for more information.

Creative Movement at the Inner World School

Come dance with us! Creative Movement is a lot of fun! Children are exposed to many different kinds of music, dance styles, musical games and developmentally appropriate exercises. It is fun and informal with lots of input from students. Parents are welcome to participate but it is not required. The emphasis in this class is to have fun and move your body, to listen and respond to music and use your imagination! If the students are interested, the class will culminate in a unique performance choreographed by the students and the teacher together for family and friends to watch.

Creative Movement for ages 2 – 4
$160.00 per semester (16 classes)
Date: Tuesdays starting January 17
Time: 11:00 – 12:00
