Vernon Montessori Society

Thank you to all that attended our Special General Meeting last night. We had some great questions, suggestions and perspectives shared and we will be looking into these ideas and questions over the next couple of weeks. There were no major decisions made regarding the future of the Society, but we will be looking towards a Welcome Meet-Up event in Early September for Montessori families, as well as our Annual General Meeting in later September. Please keep an eye on our page and website for updates and SHARE with anyone interested in supporting Montessori Education in the North Okanagan.

We are looking for a couple of parents that would be able to help us with Track and Field Concession at Silver Star on Wednesday May 13. Please let us know if you are able to give us a bit of your time that day! Or sign up for a shift or two here:

We have some extra produce bundles that are available for sale today, cash only. $20 for 3lb apples, 6-8 Russet potatoes, 3lb carrots and onions or shallots. We also have a couple of Seasonal Bundles available for $30, with shallots, 3lb carrots, 5lb potatoes, 3lb beets and 3 assorted squash. Pickup today in Room 22, between 2-4pm, first come, first served.

Great News! The Fresh To You Bundles are scheduled to arrive at Silver Star on Wednesday, November 26! Pick up will be available from 2-4pm that afternoon. Please send us a message if you are not able to get your order during that time so other arrangements can be made!
