Sorting through boxes of old pictures I did , I came across this one which was always one that I loved because of it's simplicity and the connection between the dog and the " cheese slice." LOL I was around 18 or 19 when I shot this on a Pentax camera. My girlfriend used to baby sit this little boy. The moment happened in front of a big window which to this day, is a favorite of mine for soft lighting .
Even after all these years making pictures, I am grateful for friend photography has been and continues to be. People, pets, places sometimes seem to be long ago, but a photo brings all the magic and emotion right back to mind and heart.

One from a Supre Tanning shoot . When you would outline the concept for a shoot with Cheryl, she would get into "the mindset" and turn it on. I did many photo shoots with Cheryl. Her range was endless. Great models are great actors or actresses . It is not simply sitting there in front of a camera. It's an energy that comes to life and there is no off switch when it's on. My makeup guy was equally enthusiastic on every job he worked with me on. Sadly Pierre has left this plane and no doubt doing some killer makeup on angels somewhere ......

This started out as a business head shot for a realtor website but we wound up doing something a bit more glamorous.....just soft bounce light with side panels for fill.

This was a fun shoot . The race car seat inspired this idea and thus, the space ship idea was birthed LOL....I love the cool tones in the lighting and makeup. One balcar front silver umbrella for added punch.

Leaving the studio one evening, I found these two laying in the alley. Maybe the winds caused them to fall from the massive tree out back. They never got to fly the skies , so I thought at least a portrait of them was at least something. Nature is amazing as is life. There are evil entities, and evil ambassadors for those entities that have no respect whatsoever for life on this planet. To those who do....salute~
