Robson High School is in the top percentages of high schools in rural Alberta. We offer full programming in Grades 7 to 12; enhanced by Art, Industrial Arts, Foods, French, and college courses in an advanced technology base. Academic achievement for our students is a priority – supported by a strong and successful extracurricular program. We are proud of our school, students and staff accomplishments! Robson High School is located in the Town of Vermilion with a population of 4500 people. Our town boasts big city advantages with that small town feel. There is a complete range of consumer goods and services including all medical needs. Lakeland College is a vibrant part of our community and a partner in education with J. Recreational needs are addressed through many facilities and features – including Aquatic Centre, Recreation Centre (2 arenas + curling), Parks and challenging Golf course. City style shopping is 60 Km east in Lloydminster or 180 km. Vermilion is a safe, friendly place to live and enjoy family life.

Welcome back all school students. Even though we don’t want to start thinking about the cold, curling season is upon us. Did you know we have a junior curling program?? Check this out 👇 👇
🥌 Starts November 3,2026-March 2,2027
🥌 Tuesdays 3:45-5:30pm
🥌 Grades 4-12
🥌 Only $100 to register for the whole year
🥌 Equipment of brooms, sliders & grippers are provided by the club
🥌 Please bring a clean pair of shoes
🥌 We host one bonspiel Jim Smith Memorial - so much fun
🥌 Curling clinics - learn from some of the greats (these come with a little extra cost but so worth it)
🥌 Included is Christmas party and year end party (pizza party 🍕)
🥌 Included is also curling photo of individual and group
🥌 Hoodies are available to purchase

Parents if your not sure if your child would like to curl we are also offering a LEARN TO CURL November 1, 3-5pm They can come and get a feel for it.

Curious about curling and not sure it’s for you? Come to our Learn to Curl. Ages grade 4 to Senior are welcome. We will have certified coaches to help you and answer any questions you may have about the sport. No equipment needed except for clean shoes and stretchy clothing. If you are not able to make it but want to learn more about the sport or want to join but shy. We do one on one training as well.

Today, we celebrate the unsung heroes of our school - Rocky, Jana, and Eleanor, who work tirelessly to keep our school sparkling! Their dedication is truly inspiring, and we're grateful for all they do. To show appreciation, the Grade 9 CommTech class took initiative and cleaned the concourse in no time, with 20 students working together to wash tables, take out the trash, and sweep the floors. Later, students and staff pitched in to make Jana's and Eleanor's evening tasks a little lighter. Let's give it up for our amazing custodians! 🙌 Today is Custodian Appreciation Day, but we hope they feel appreciated every day.
