The Lakeland Stockmans Club is all set up at GMAC in Lloydminster! They will be around all weekend so feel free to stop by and check out the heifers we have on display! They show tomorrow in the Open Show, good luck to all the exhibitors!

If you guys have any questions regarding our annual Round Up Sale that takes place here at the college on March 28 stop by the stall! Our lovely members would love to talk cattle with you!

Meet our Open Show Judge: Lexi Dietrich!

Lexi has been at shows her whole life, she spent long days in a stroller watching and learning from her three older siblings. She has travelled across Canada working and competing at multiple shows like Expos in Quebec and British Colombia.

Lexi along with her family operate Redrich Farms a purebred Red Angus operation in Forestburg, Alberta.

She volunteers on the Canadian Junior Angus Board as the Vice President and helps plan there annual Showdown that will be held in Quebec this July!

Lexi also is alumni of the Lakeland College Judging club, competeing with them at multiple judging competitions such as Western Canadian Agribition, University of Saskatchewan Judging Competition and Canadian Western Intercollegiate Judging Competition in Guelph, Ontario.

She currently works as a third-generation producer at Redrich Farms and is also involved in agricultural media, creating bull sale photos and videos through her brother’s company, AgPlus Designs Ltd.

Meet our Junior Show Judge: Tanner Lowe!

My name is Tanner Lowe, I’m from Meacham Saskatchewan where me and along my family operate Wooden Spoke Land and Cattle. We have around 60 purebred black angus, 20 purebred simmentals and 160 commercials. Along with a couple sale partners we have our annual Sudden Impact Bull Sale the first Saturday in April. I’ve grown up judging from as young as I can remember and it’s always been something I enjoyed. I judged in 4-H competitions for 11 years and now currently on the Lakeland College Judging Team. I’m super excited for this opportunity and would like to thank the Lakeland Stockmans Club for having me.
