Now that the end is here, it’s Blake’s turn to pass off the position of general manager of the commercial unit to Caleb! Wish you the best of luck, Caleb in the 2026- 2027 year! 🙌🙌

Hi my name is Caleb Peters. I am from Rainy River Ontario. I grew up on a commercial Beef and mixed farm operation. Our diverse herd consists mostly of black and red angus with Charolais cross. I also have experience working on other operations and areas of the industry. I am super excited about next year and I look forward to getting to know my team better as well as meeting many new people in the beef industry.

Today was our last exam, you’re 2025-2026 commercial unit is officially out!

As the 2025–2026 Commercial Unit comes to a close, we want to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who made this year possible.

To the agricultural industry members who shared their time, knowledge, and passion — thank you for investing in us and helping shape our future in this industry. Your mentorship has been invaluable.

To Lakeland College — thank you for providing us with the hands-on opportunities, resources, and environment to grow, learn, and succeed. The experiences we’ve gained here will stay with us for a lifetime.
