Another year of Family Literacy is almost here!

We are so excited to get our programs started again and welcome families back for another year of learning, playing, creating, and connecting together. Check out our September line up and information on transitioning back into the school year!

Registration opens Tuesday, September 1 at 9:00 AM.

To register, email [email protected] on or after 9:00 AM. We’ll send you a confirmation, registration form, program details, and everything you need to know before your program begins.

We can’t wait to see familiar faces and meet some new ones this year!

Are you looking for supportive, inclusive educational programming for your preschool-aged child? Do you have questions or concerns about your child’s development?

We have spaces available in our CALS Head Start program for 3- and 4-year-olds, with classes starting in September!

Week 2 & 3 photo dump because apparently we’ve been too busy exploring, creating, playing, laughing, getting messy, and having way too much fun to post anything sooner.

The official Little Explorers report: lots of adventures, outrageous amounts of glitter, very serious snack breaks (maybe even freezie breaks), and enough energy to power the whole building.

We’re halfway through summer and already wondering how these little explorers are going to fit all their adventures into the next few weeks!

What a wonderful first week at Little Explorers!

We had so much fun getting to know all of our amazing explorers through outdoor play, crafts, stories, games, water play, and plenty of learning through play. It has been wonderful to see new friendships begin and smiles grow each day.

Thank you to all of our families for a fantastic first week. We can't wait to see what the rest of the summer brings!

Still looking for some summer fun for your 3–5 year old? We still have spaces available in our Little Explorers Summer Camp!

Our days are filled with fun, hands-on learning experiences designed to keep children engaged throughout the summer. From stories, songs, and crafts to science experiments, outdoor exploration, sensory activities, games, and themed learning opportunities, each day offers something new to discover.

Give Your Child a Head Start with CALS

CALS Head Start is a supportive Early Childhood Education program designed to help children build confidence, skills, and a strong foundation before kindergarten.

Program highlights:
• No fees
• Transportation subsidies
• Access to SLP, OT, and PT services

This program supports children who may benefit from extra help, including:
• Speech and language delays
• Developmental or physical disabilities
• Medical conditions
• Behavioural or developmental concerns

Early intervention in a nurturing, inclusive environment can make a lasting difference.

Eligibility: Children ages 2 years, 8 months to under 5 years (as of September 1)
