Only the third lesson, and this student has already memorized the entire piece! 👏🎹

There is still plenty of room for improvement in technique, musical expression, and attention to detail, but this is a wonderful start and a milestone worth celebrating. Progress is never about perfection—it's about taking one step forward at a time.

Well done! Keep up the hard work!🎵🎶💕

What an incredible festival season! 🎹✨

I am so grateful and proud of all my students for their outstanding achievements this year at the North York Music Festival, Yip's Music Festival, and the OMFA Ontario Provincial Music Festival.

Through their dedication, perseverance, and love for music, they not only received numerous awards but also earned over $1,000 in scholarships in total. What a wonderful accomplishment!

My heartfelt thanks go to the festival organizers for providing such meaningful platforms for young musicians to perform, grow, and be inspired. I am also deeply thankful to all the parents for their unwavering support, encouragement, and commitment throughout their children's musical journey.

Most importantly, congratulations to every student. Your hard work has truly paid off, and I couldn't be prouder of each one of you. Keep making beautiful music! ❤️🎶

A heartfelt thank you to Yips Music Festival for providing such a meaningful platform for young musicians to grow, perform, and share their passion for music.🎼🎹

As a teacher, I feel so proud to see my students performed on stage yesterday. Congratulations to E. (Grade 2), V. (Grade 3), L. (Grade 4), and S. (Grade 6) for receiving Best of Grade awards 🏆 and sharing their beautiful performances. Watching them grow in confidence, develop their musicality, and shine on stage is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching.😍🥰

So proud of each student’s hard work and dedication. May you continue to grow, shine, and enjoy the beautiful journey of music! ❤️🎶

Today, one of my students was nominated by the Yip's Music Festival to compete in the Provincial Finals held in Waterloo. 🎶🎵🎹

This year, the Grade 6 piano competition was divided into three groups, with 25 competitors in each group. Only two participants from each group were selected to advance to the final round. To be chosen among so many talented young pianists was truly not an easy task.

By God’s grace, my student was selected to compete in the playoffs. Since there were a few minor slips in the final performance, she received an Honourable Mention with Distinction — a commendable accomplishment 🏅

Every competition is a valuable learning experience and an opportunity for growth. I am truly proud of her hard work, perseverance, and courage throughout this journey. 🤩❤️💜
