What is Provocation you may ask?

It's an invitation to play and explore while maintaining meaningful learning experiences. It's an important aspect of the Reggio Emilia approach to child-centered education. Provocations allow and encourage children to experience the world for themselves through open-ended activities without being overtly guided by an educator.

Why is learning patterns and sequences in math very important?

Patterns are at the heart of math. The ability to recognize and create patterns help us make predictions based on our observations; this is an important skill in math. Understanding patterns help prepare children for learning complex number concepts and mathematical operations.
