We at CMRG recognize our patients and families during Myeloma month.

The Board of Directors recently met in Ottawa and we had the chance to reflect on our successes so far.
- 500 Canadians with myeloma have received treatment that would otherwise not be available in Canada.
- That is a total of 6,500 doses of potentially life extending or even lifesaving medicine.

At the Canadian Myeloma Research group, we will continue moving forward in doing the research needed in order to eradicate this disease..

Like any successful board meeting it was followed by dinner and comradery.

We celebrate Clinical Trials Day on May 20, marking the start of the first randomized clinical trial by James Lind in 1747. Since then, clinical trials have evolved significantly. Today, they are essential in developing treatments for conditions like myeloma. We thank everyone involved in myeloma clinical trials, from researchers to participants, for their crucial role in advancing safe and effective treatments.
