Registration now open. My art classes are generally quiet, though students sometimes talk with each other. I explain that, as an artist, I need time and focus to think while creating, and that too much talking can interrupt the creative process. When the class becomes noisy, I remind students that thinking is an important part of making art and that noise can distract both their own creativity and that of others. Art by Draschoff
