YAACS (Young Adults and Children's Services) is a section of the BCLA (British Columbia Library Association). Founded in 1980, our members include librarians, library-technicians, teacher-librarians and other library workers interested in services to youth in British Columbia. Our purpose is to promote the exchange of ideas among library personnel who work with Children and Young Adults.

Our meeting is Wed, May 27 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM. We will be joined by guest speaker Kate Buium (she/hers), a Senior Knowledge Broker with the Knowledge to Action Team at the University of British Columbia’s School of Population and Public Health, to talk about the Human Early Learning Partnership (HELP).
Anyone interested in library services for children and teens is welcome to join us. We welcome folks to enjoy their lunch/have a snack while the meeting takes place. To get the Zoom link, log into the YAACS forum a day or two before the meeting.
