University Canada West proudly presents the Early Career Researcher Award to Dr. Mohammad Osman Gani in recognition of his exceptional contributions to research and academic scholarship.

Since completing his PhD in 2023, Dr. Gani has established an impressive research program focused on international marketing, consumer behaviour and supply chain management. His work has been published in leading academic journals, contributing valuable insights into decision-making, artificial intelligence and business resilience in an evolving global landscape.

University Canada West is proud to recognize Dr. Mitra Madanchian, recipient of the Leadership in Teaching & Learning Award.

Since joining UCW in 2023, Dr. Madanchian has demonstrated exceptional leadership in advancing teaching and learning through curriculum innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration and academic excellence. Her contributions include leading the redesign of more than 90 Bachelor of Commerce courses, integrating artificial intelligence and Indigenous perspectives into the curriculum and supporting the development of programs that prepare students for the future of business.

We are proud to celebrate Dr. Madanchian’s outstanding contributions to teaching and learning and her lasting impact on the UCW community through her commitment to educational excellence and student success.
