As the year comes to an end, student council has planned a final CELEBRATION spirit week. 🕺🏻💃 On Monday, we have the slurpee drinking contest. This is based on a first come first serve sign up. Then, on Tuesday, we have tourist day, so come dressed like you’re on vacation!! 🌺🏖Wednesday, we have the annual watermelon eating challenge, get ready to watch the biggest foodies in the school chow down on some WATERMELON!! Finally, on Friday, we have a piñata hitting and free freezies event planned for you, so make sure to come get your freezie ASAP!! 🎉

The most exciting event of the year is arriving!! TOMORROW from 2-5pm on Britannia’s grass field! GUESS WHAT IT IS?? Britannia student council is hosting a city-wide MULTICULTURAL CARNIVAL! There will be games, performances, food, and even an inflatable obstacle course!! Admission is free of charge. There will be $3 combos with a drink, savoury item, and chips! As well, games will be 25 cents!! Make sure you’re coming because it is going to be a fun time. 🎪🐻🎉

Britannia Secondary is hosting a city-wide multicultural carnival designed both to celebrate youth week and to bring Vancouver’s multicultural community together. There will be food combos for only $3. There will be games for only 25 cents each play (with a prize table). We have performances, inflatables, and other iconic carnival goodies planned, so please try to come!! 🎪🐻

Just a reminder that tomorrow is the chubby bunny challenge and lights out day!! The chubby bunny challenge starts at 12pm, so don’t forget to come down to the foyer and watch. Also, please tell your teachers to turn off the lights for earth week. 🌎

TOMORROW’S A BIG DAY! First of all, it is pink/loud shirt day, so wear pink and/or bold colours!! If you don’t have a pink shirt, Stuco is giving away shirts in front of the night school office at lunch! 💕

In the after noon, Grade 7 students will be touring the school, make sure to welcome them!

Hey Bruins!! We have 2 announcements for you!

1. This Wednesday, February 28th is pink shirt day. Basically, it is a day to wear pink, loud, and bold clothing!! In honour of that, student council will be giving out 50 white shirts on a first come first serve basis TOMORROW, February 26th, at lunch in front of the night school office. TIE DYE stations will be set up so you can design your own loud shirt. In addition, we will be giving out 50 pink shirts on WEDNESDAY at lunch in front of the night school office. There are 100 shirts in total, so come grab one before we run out!! SEE YOU THERE! 🐻💗💕

2. CALLING ALL BRUINS!! Intramurals are BACK and we will be ending off the weeks before Spring Break with volleyball intramurals 🎉🎉 This week will be the LAST WEEK to sign up, so gather your friends and make a team! The sign up sheets and rules are posted in the skywalk, everyone is welcomed to participate!! As usual, the winning team will receive some AMAZING PRIZES!! 🏐🥇
