Over two hours, you’ll learn basic handbuilding techniques to create a special vase for you to hold your ikebana-style floral arrangement!

New to the pottery wheel or giving it a second spin? This beginner-friendly 5-week class is designed to build confidence at the wheel from day one.

You’ll learn the foundations of wheel throwing—centering, pulling walls, and shaping simple forms like bowls and cups—while developing the muscle memory that makes the wheel feel natural. Each week builds on the last, with plenty of hands-on guidance and time to practice.

Perfect for complete beginners or anyone who’s tried the wheel before and wants a fresh start.
