ASTRO-WEATHER for June 8β14, 2026
Dates for Pacific to Eastern time.
The Sun enters Cancer on June 21. Happy Birthday to all Cancerians out there! βππ
Here is what to prioritize β and sidestep β in the week ahead:
β’ Monday and Tuesday are two excellent days for love and romance (Venus sextile Uranus and trine Neptune; Opportunity Period!)
β’ The Opportunity Period on Tuesday is fantastic for initiating anything you want to grow and be successful.
β’ Sidestep Wednesday for first dates, and don't get sucked into power games in relationships (Venus-Pluto opposition).
β’ Thursday and Friday are the time to make a healthy change to your diet or your daily routines (Waxing Moon in Virgo).
β’ Mercury will start slowing down on Sunday, getting ready to turn retrograde on June 29. Chances of communication mishaps, scheduling glitches, and technology problems will start increasing as of Sunday.

Venus has moved into Leo, where she'll remain until July 9.
Venus in Leo has many wonderful qualities, but one of my favourites is her refusal to apologize for enjoying life.
She appreciates beauty. She values quality. She understands that being appreciated never goes out of style.
And she knows that sometimes the most sensible thing you can do is stop postponing joy until some future date.
As a Leo, I always enjoy it when Venus visits my sign. It feels like a gentle reminder that life isn't only about responsibilities, obligations, and checking things off the list.
Sometimes it's about celebrating the beautiful, amazing being that you already are!β¨
Which brings me to this Leo martini (recipe below)... A good martini is my Venus-in-Leo indulgence.
β Let me know yours! For you, what is worth splurging on because it makes life richer?
OK, now on to that martini recipe:
πΈ LEO MARTINI
* Use an ounce - or two! - of good quality rum. Life is too short π
* Add 1/2 oz of Amaretto or other almond-based liqueur
* Steal 1 oz of orange juice from your kids. Yes you love them, but this moment is about YOU!
* Shake all the ingredients with a couple of ice cubes.
* Pour into a well-chilled martini glass. Top with the best bubbly your money can buy. Prosecco will work too. It's all about attitude βοΈπ
* Kick back and enjoy. You're so worth it!

You know that moment when you have too many programs running and your computer just... freezes?
Your brain does the same thing.
"Under too much stress, you can suffer from what's called a bandwidth tax... Your cognitive capacity to address the many demands in your life does not always leave room for thinking about the big picture.
You might be dedicating so much time to planning your kidβs upcoming field trip that your brain is so filled with worry you have no time or headspace to think about saving for an emergency fund or your kid's future." β Kelley Keehn, Talk Money to Me
She's talking about finances. And kids. But the same principle applies to everything.
π Which is why the Balsamic Moon (June 11, 7:54 p.m. to June 14, 7:54 p.m. PDT) is one of my favourite phases of the lunar cycle.
It's inauspicious for new beginnings β but it's perfect for clearing the cache.
Finishing what's lingering. Decluttering the physical, digital, or emotional clutter that's quietly eating your bandwidth.
β¨ Want to make the most of it? There's an Opportunity Period tucked inside this Balsamic Moon: June 12, 11:37 a.m. to June 13, 12:30 a.m. PDT. Use that window for your most intentional clearing.
(New to Opportunity Periods? They are the times the Moon makes positive aspects only before she enters a new sign. They support specific types of undertakings).
You're making space for the New Moon in Gemini on June 14 β β fresh ideas, new conversations, new connections.
But first: clear the cache.
π What's one thing you're clearing out this Balsamic Moon?

In Part 1 of this post, we looked at how this aspect plays out personally β the tension between what's familiar and what your soul is being called toward.
But Uranus squaring the Lunar Nodes doesn't stop at the individual level. It operates collectively, too.
The Lunar Nodes describe the arc of collective consciousness: the South Node is where we've come from β the ingrained patterns, the default systems, the path of least resistance. The North Node points toward where we're being asked to evolve.
A square from Uranus hits both at once.
That's crossroads energy on a global scale. We can collectively fall back on what's familiar β or be jolted, sometimes forcibly, onto a new path.
Whatever is meant to shift, will.
Between now and early July β when Mars conjoins Uranus on July 3 β expect things to move quickly and with little warning. Sudden developments and shake-ups are now possible around:
π Markets π Geopolitical tensions β‘ Technology and AI βοΈ Air travel and infrastructure π Cyber-security
This isn't random chaos. It's a tipping point. Systems that have been under strain for years may reach a breaking point β forcing rapid adaptation and exposing what is no longer sustainable.
And this aspect doesn't arrive in isolation.
Jupiter moves into Leo on June 29 β and July is quite something. A majorly beneficial alignment between Jupiter, Neptune, and Uranus brings real potential for breakthroughs and expansion. The Uranus-Pluto trine peaks (we'll have a series of these trines all the way into 2028!)
But the Jupiter-Pluto opposition gets in the way. The tension intensifies before it gets better.
What begins as a pivot in June may be fully playing out by July.
We're heading into yet another eventful part of 2026 - as if we haven't had enough already! Personally, I'm starting to miss "boring"... π
But, once Jupiter enters Leo, it also comes bearing gifts. Stay tuned for my upcoming post on Jupiter in Leo.

One of the loveliest, warmest energies of the year is about to arrive: Venus and Jupiter come together in Cancer.
π It's a wonderful energy for love and romance. For the pragmatic: get yourself out there. Approach your love interest. Schedule that first date, or go on a date night with your partner.
Be sure to work around the Moon void-of-course: June 8, 5:38 p.m. to June 9, 1:33 a.m. PDT. It's an inauspicious time to initiate something you want to grow, including first dates!
πͺFor the metaphysically inclined, charge a rose quartz and citrine for luck in love matters. It's also a great day to call in financial abundance.
βAnd for the soul-searcher, a question: Does receiving come as easily to you as giving? Venus and Jupiter can bestow gifts β but even the best, happiest transit can pass us by if we're not open to it.
If your response to "I love your new hair colour" is "Well, I had to do something to cover the grey"... guess what β your ability to receive might need a tune-up. π Just saying...

ASTRO-WEATHER for June 8β14, 2026
Dates for Pacific to Eastern time.
First, a reminder: Mercury will turn retrograde on June 29.
Mercury Rx is an inauspicious time for contracts, negotiations, and buying vehicles or expensive electronic devices. So if you're planning to put your house on the market, make an offer on a home, or start a negotiation at work (as some examples), start planning around Mercury Retrograde dates: June 29βJuly 23.
In everyday matters β communication glitches, technology hiccups β we may start feeling Mercury Retrograde effects as early as June 21, when it enters its Storm (slowing down as it gets ready to turn retrograde).
β¨β¨
Now on to the upcoming week. Here is what to prioritize β and sidestep:
β’ Monday and Tuesday are two of the best days of the year for love and romance! (But be sure to work around Moon void-of-course. Times below ππΌ).
β’ Avoid important communication and presentations on Tuesday and Wednesday. People might be less inclined to hear you out.
β’ Thursday to Saturday are 3 excellent days to wrap up projects, declutter, and recharge. Don't start anything you want to grow though. The Moon is Balsamic.
β’ Set your intentions on the New Moon in Gemini!
π And here is a quick summary of the void-of-course times this week. Avoid starting anything new you want to succeed during these periods:
β’ June 8: 5:38 p.m. β June 9: 1:33 a.m. PDT
β’ June 11: 1:22 a.m. β 5:28 a.m. PDT
β’ June 13: 12:30 a.m. β 6:06 a.m. PDT
β’ June 14: 7:54 p.m. β June 15: 5:14 a.m. PDT
If you find this forecast helpful, feel free to share or tag a fellow astro-lover.

What do a well-known economist, a successful fashion designer, and a young mom of 2 have in common?
They all asked me the same question:
ππΌ When is the right timing for my next big move?
"So much more than I expected," said the economist. "Rich food for thought for my retirement decision. Fabulous conversation, too."
"You're right. I had a great romantic opportunity this past year, but got scared", said the designer. "There are some things I need to work through first". (What? Did you think it was a business reading? π)
"Thank you!", said the Mom. "Here I was, tying myself into a pretzel to balance motherhood and career. Good to know my next big career cycle is 2 years away β I can enjoy motherhood for now."

What if the thing you're best at is no longer where your growth lies?
One of the most fascinating things about the Lunar Nodes is that they often describe a tension we all experience.
The South Node shows what comes naturally.
The habits. The strengths. The familiar path. (If you believe in reincarnation, the South Node can indicate the gifts you brought with you from your past life).
The North Node points toward growth. And growth is rarely comfortable!
My own South Node is in the 10th House in Virgo. Career, achievement, and professional identity always felt natural to me.
My North Node is in the 4th House in Pisces. It brings a very different invitation. More connection to roots, spirituality, and what can't always be measured or planned (and believe me, my Virgo Mercury is a planner!!) Connecting with my North Node has been in a journey...π
Which brings me to June 12 - the day Uranus squares the Lunar Nodes.
When Uranus gets involved, life has a way of asking whether we're ready to move beyond old patterns and into new territory.
Sometimes through an opportunity. Other times, through a disruption. Either way, since the Nodes are involved, it can feel like a karmic, fated moment. Destiny might just be knocking on your door!
If your Lunar Nodes are between 0-5Β° Virgo or Pisces, you may find yourself at a crossroads mid-June to early July. Do you stay with what's familiar, or do you take a step toward the evolution your soul is meant to experience?
This is you if you were born:
β¨ Dec 1951 β Mar 1952
β¨ Mar 1961 β Jun 1961
β¨ Aug 1970 β Nov 1970
β¨ Oct 1979 β Jan 1980
β¨ Feb 1989 β May 1989
β¨ May 1998 β Aug 1998
Mars will conjunct Uranus on July 3, setting off the energy. Pay attention to what comes into your life between now and then.
The same very Uranus-Nodes square can be impactful for the world, as well. Stay tuned for part 2 of this post...

β¨ A quick reminder - we're heading into a short but helpful OPPORTUNITY PERIOD: June 5, 9:00 a.m. to 12:51 p.m. PDT
If you're new to Opportunity Periods, they are "electional astrology lite" β when the Moon makes positive aspects only before she enters a new sign. Opportunity Periods are the best timing through the week (and sometimes through the month) for specific pursuits.
This one is best for networking and building your social connections.
β οΈ Just as the Opportunity Period is over, the Moon slips into a lengthy void of course: June 5, 12:51 p.m. to June 6, 5:43 p.m. PDT. Don't initiate anything important, that you want to bring results.
